Hey, as long as you aren't picky about steel cased ammo, that's not a bad deal. :ok: |

Is it reliable and will it harm the weapon? |

I don't use it in AR's. |

Steel = Steel Steel > Brass So, steel on steel wears both parts equally. Since brass is softer, it takes most of the abuse. It has more give to it. Not to mention that steel is more brittle. So, if you plan on reloading, once fired steel casings would not be safe. Yes, it mostly plays hell with the extractor in ARs. It's quick and cheap enough of a part to replace. But, when will it fail to function properly for you, when you're at the range or when you need it? |

If you are gonna run steel case ammo, just make sure you haev an extra extractor. Change them out after firing the steel case ammo, so if there comes a time you NEED the gun, fast and cant afford a fail, then youll have a less worn extractor in place. |

all I can say is if you have one AR buy only a couple of boxes and try it. I have 10 AR's and only feeds fine in a couple of them (of course I shoot them the most cheaper) would never put it in my MSAR 556 have to much $ in that one. something else I have is the 22lr conversion on 2 of my AR'S- now that some cheap shooting, the best $199 I ever spent. http://www.spikestactical.com/z/inde...roducts_id=176 :15_1_70v: |
Re: PRVI 5.56 M855 in stock @ Wideners
My old Bushmaster AR ate up wolf with no issues. My new Stag which I got to use for the first time today feed 120 rounds of Privi M855 with no issues and then 120 rounds of Wolf with no issues.
I have yet to fire an AR that had an issue with Wolf, I am surprised at how many people can't use it. I understand Wolf is dirty, but again I never had an issue with it in any of my firearms. |

:tongue_ma: Though, mine is a CMMG. They are nice kits. Try some .22lr tracer ammo through it once in a while to spice things up :s9:. Quote:

Satyr I wish I could afford to put 5K rounds of Wolf through it. Have you had issues with Wolf in your Stag?
With the Bushy I fired maybe 25% Wolf through it. I will probably do the same with the Stag. |

I loved Monty even back when he worked in a supporting role for Robotman. As for the Prvi Partisan ammo: I obtained a few cases of their 75 gr .223, and it is sweet, straight shooting ammo! I am doing OK with M855, otherwise I would get in on this deal. These days, 2 for $1 is a pretty good deal for factory, brass .223 ammo. |
